Birmingham is the second largest city in the UK and over 1.1 million people call the city home. The city houses five universities and is the largest centre of higher education in the UK outside of London. In 2021 it was the third most visited city in UK with London and Edinburgh taking first and second places respectively. Birmingham has the highest amount of major companies in a city outside of London and the southeast.  

Home to over 81,000 students, Birmingham doesn’t have the high quality accommodation that these students require when their degree comes to an end. Therefore, Birmingham struggles to retain its graduates and this is where Kosy Co Living helps the young professionals of the city.  

Birmingham is also a huge city, as mentioned above it is the second largest in the UK. This can make it even harder for graduates and young professionals to find people or flat mates to live with when their degree comes to an end.
